Highland Valley Residence

Steep slopes and large granite boulders define this beautiful 4 acre mountaintop property, but presented challenges to building this 4,100 sf. home with an additional 1,000 sf. guest house. Capitalizing on the amazing panoramic views of the valley below and finding opportunities to engage with the natural features of the property drove the design concept. Open spaces and high ceilings with large windows bathe the space with light as well as maximize the views from nearly every room of the house. Only through careful site analysis and creative design were we able to create a unique home that allowed the residents to fully experience and appreciate the beauty of their property.
